In March of 2010 we explored the benefits of a new metal roof for our rural home in Waushara County. The sales call was very informative. The variety of choices and benefits of a metal roof helped us overcome hesitation of price, particularly given our problems with ice dams during winter months.

The installation went very well. The total job was completed in two weeks in spite of March snow falls. A few minor issues were completely resolved in a follow up visit. We are optimistic that the winter of 2010-2011 will find our ice dam problem resolved and look forward to a maintenance free roof for as long as we own our home.

One of the reasons I chose your company was your values. God first, family second, and thirdly business. I think those are good values to have nowadays. I also like the fact that you have a good rating with the Better Business Bureau.

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about having a new roof installed in December, but everything went very well. Scott and his fellow crew members got here promptly every morning. They always acted in a professional manner, and always cleaned up at the end of each day.

I have noticed that some of my neighbors have been observing the progress of the roof. I'm sure that when the weather gets nicer, I'll have people stopping by to ask how I like my new roof.

After only a few days, I can honestly say that the temperature in the house seems to be more comfortable. I'll be anxious to see just how much it saves in energy costs over the long haul.

We love our American Metal Roof!

With so many colors and styles to choose from, it was easy to pick the roof that we would love to come home to everyday, and now, with our new AMR we no longer look at our roof and wonder how long will this one last. You see, with our first roof, made of asphalt it only lasted 14 years, but with our new AMR we have the peace of mind that we will not have to worry about our roof in our lifetime, and with the 40 year transferable warranty, the next owners have a long time of worry free enjoyment with this roof. Fate took us down McCarthy Road one day on our way to Appleton, the day American Metal Roofs was installing a new roof on a home. Jordon took time out of his busy day to talk to us about your products and the benefits of an aluminum roof. The installation crew was very professional looking dressed in t-shirts with the company name and logo. They worked very well together as a team. I started building my house last summer and I went to a couple of home shows to learn about new and innovative building ideas. I came across metal roofs by various companies and I asked them if there was a way that I could install my own roof. They told me that it takes all kinds of special tools and knowledge and the normal consumer could not do it. I was determined to find a way to do it myself. That’s when I came upon the American Metal Roof of Northern Wisconsin website and they advertised a do it yourself seminar. I signed up immediately and invited a friend of mine to come along. We learned all about the different styles of roofing and how to put them on. It wasn’t that hard and I decided to go for it.

Another friend and I installed the roof (just the two of us) and it took us about a week. There was a bit of “on the job” learning and we had to get a system (he bent and cut and I installed them) it went fast. I would say the hardest part of the whole project was laying down the paper. We used Ice Shield on the whole roof. It stuck to the roof and was easier to walk on plus I feel it gives a better seal under the shingles.

I put the sign provided out in front of the house and I had several people comment on how beautiful the roof looked. They would ask if it was really metal and I would show them the left over material and explain the process; they were amazed that a metal roof could look so good.

We couldn’t be happier with the quality and looks of the roof we have. We live in a very wooded area and we didn’t want to worry about moss or mold growing on the roof. We have had several storms and it has gone through the winter – nothing has damaged it. The snow does come off, when the weather warms up a little. Rain and wind has no affect.

It is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who asks.

We wanted to let you know how incredibly pleased we are with our new Oxford Shingle Aluminum Roof System. We choose a metal roof initially to match the architectural style of our 75 year old Arts and Crafts style home. However, the benefits of an American Metal Roofs system have far exceeded our expectations.

Our conventional premium asphalt shingle roof failed after only 14 years of a 25-year warranted shingle. The warranty turned out to be only a $250 credit towards more of the same asphalt shingles. A 25-year warranty did not mean that the shingles would last 25 years! We could reasonably expect to replace our asphalt shingle roof at least twice more in our lifetime, and each time, the materials and labor would actually cost more. As we approach retirement, economically, it made sense to replace our traditional roof with a more permanent solution.

Our new American Metal Roof system has greatly improved the indoor comfort of our home. The house is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Being an older home, we have worked to improve its energy efficiency by doing the typical insulation and improvement projects. However, we still had to use space heaters in the winter for the cold spots, and supplement our central air conditioning in the summer with a window unit upstairs. Our new roof system has eliminated the need for both. We can easily maintain a winter temperature of 68F degrees and a summer temperature of 73F degrees without any supplemental heating or cooling. We have seen a decrease in our heating and cooling bills.

The insulation value of our new American Metal Roof also has the benefit of making our home much quieter. We no longer hear much of the typical street noise of our neighborhood, and we usually have to look out our windows to know if it is raining.

Your roofing crew is the BEST! They were quiet, respectful, and very professional. They kept us apprised of their daily progress and immediately discussed any problems.and they uncovered many on this job. Our simple roofing job ended-up being a major reconstruction of the roof. The asphalt shingle failure on our roof resulted in multiple leaks. Your crew uncovered a significant amount of structural damage as a result of the previous roofer's improper installation of the asphalt shingles. The roof had become so hot during the summertime that the glue in the particle board decking had actually evaporated. The roof was literally falling in! Your crew was knowledgeable and easily moved from roofing to roof framing and structural carpentry. They thoroughly inspected the entire roof, repaired any deficits, and helped us avoid a catastrophic roof failure.

Again, we are thoroughly satisfied with our decision to have an American Metal Roofs aluminum shingle system installed on our home. It is a beautiful, low maintenance, valuable addition to our house. We have great peace of mind knowing that our roof will last as long as our sturdy little bungalow.

With my old roof, I watched up to 4 feet of heavy, wet snow stress the structure of my cottage. And I wasn’t there often enough to make a snow rake effective. Now, with my new Oxford Shingle aluminum roof from American Metal Roofs, not only is it beautiful, but no more than a dusting of snow stays on the roof. It either blow or slides off with no unnecessary wear and tear due to the snow weight.

During the quoting process American Metal Roofs was thorough, professional, and up-front. There were no surprises. The hiccups we did have (my roof was in bad shape) were anticipated and accounted for in the quote, before they occurred.

I was very disappointed with my current roofing system that I personally installed myself 11 years prior. It was a three tab asphalt/fiberglass 25 year shingle. Every year I would have to clean stones from my gutters in spring and fall. I already had curling and mold growing on the north face.

After much research, I easily decided to have an aluminum roof installed by American Metal Roofs. The cost was about three times the cost of a conventional fiberglass shingle but after I weighed the benefits of never replacing the roof again, heat reflection during the summer months, no more shoveling snow from the roof in the winter and a guaranteed no-fade finish, it seemed the way to go to add value with less maintenance.

Our Historic Tutor Revival home was well maintained over the years, under a canopy of huge silver maple trees, except for one thing – the tree layers asphalt composite roofing material accumulated over its 86 year history had to be removed and replaced! The wood underneath and the moss on top both were alive with decay. No cheap fix would do!

American Metal Roofs of Northern Wisconsin efficiently tore off the old material, replaced the rotten wood, sealed the whole roof with underlayment and fastened a light and strong aluminum shingle roof.

The Terra Red Oxford shingles are beautiful and the craftsman ship superb! The workers were dedicated and even fun! They also worked with us to do some needed painting and insulating along the way. All the problem areas got fixed right.

With Ray Farmer’s and Jordon Campbell’s advice, we chose a great product for the house and free-standing garage, even varying it with a traditional standing seam roof over our sun parlor.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to tell how pleased we are with our new Rustic Shingle metal roof that was installed by your company in March of this year. The finished product is better than we expected. It is a very unique looking roof. Many people have stopped and commented how nice the roof looks. Most think its slate or tile and don’t believe it when we tell them it is aluminum. Folks are really impressed when I show them how the panels interlock and how they are fasted down. They are also impressed with the fact that the old material went to the landfill and that the new shingles are 95% recycled aluminum. The 2.5 inch hail and 120mph wind rating also impresses people, especially with all the wind and hail damage in our area the last 10 years.

Some frown when we tell them the cost, the favorite comment, “I can buy a lot of shingles for that money!” But like we tell them it’s an investment that we made for the last time. For less money than a new Suburban would have cost us, we re-roofed 2, yes 2, buildings. Better yet, our roofs have a lifetime warranty, use no gas, don’t need oil changes, tires, etc., and we will never have to replace it again, unlike a Suburban.

We were very pleased with the efficiency and quality of the work of your installations crew. They were very knowledgeable of their work and how to install the product. As you know, on the house the gables were finished with a scalloped edge, every end looks as if it were a machine, not hand fitted. Craftsmanship hasn’t died!! They were glad when they got to the garage as that has the straight gable and ridge finish. This is a good place for those of you looking for this type of roofing to see both styles and gable and edge finishing techniques in one place.

Dear American Metal Roofs,

We are writing to let you know how pleased we are with the look of our new metal roof. We have been told that it looks like a slate or tile roof, instead of metal. People have also been very complimentary about the color. We live on a farm with a red barn and wanted it to match.

We did the main roof and are planning on doing the smaller roofs at a later date, as they had just recently been updated. We were very glad to hear that there is a color warranty included, which means we can match our main roof for up to 30 years.

The team worked through a very cold and inhospitable part of the winter. In spite of a flu virus, snowstorms, and high winds, they were very careful to make sure that the roof was covered, so we didn’t experience any leaks during construction, despite the fact that we had a winter thunderstorm. They were courteous and took the time to answer any questions we had, starting with Mr. Farmer and including the work crew.
