Centurion Standing Seam
Centurion Standing Seam steel roofs in Northern Wisconsin and the UP provide a clean, contemporary look. Unlike many standing seam products, which are scaled for commercial applications, a Centurion Standing Seam roof is scaled for residential use.
Centurion Standing Seam can be manufactured from heavy-duty rust-free .032" aluminum alloy or copper. The panels are installed using all concealed fasteners so there's no need for rubber-grommet screws or nails. This panel can be installed on minimum pitches of 2/12 or greater.
The clips and screws ensure secure attachment while allowing the panel to expand and contract. Allowing the panel to move minimizes the possibility of fasteners working lose that plagues so many flat panel applications.
Because of the snow shedding capabilities, angled and flat standing seam roofs are a favorite in heavy snow areas. Caution should be used if the building being roofed has valleys, as the snow will accumulate in the valleys held by the ridge of the standing seam. In these cases, a snow country roof which allows the snow to slide over a flat panel is preferred. See Snow Country Roofs.
Centurion Standing Seams can be coated with HI-R heat reflective paint, which helps to create a cooler, more energy-efficient home due to the special reflective pigments embedded in the finish. The complex chemical structure of these pigments reflects away the infrared portion of the sun’s rays most responsible for heat buildup. So, while maintaining color consistency and fade protection, HI-R Heat Barrier Technology provides all the advantages of greater reflectance, without sacrificing color choices. As one of the leading suppliers of standing seam steel roofs in Northern Wisconsin and the UP, our selection of Standing Seam options is second to none.
Clipless Standing Seam
Clipless Standing Seam is the most economical standing seam available. The clipless panel utilizes a screw hem very similar to those used on aluminum and vinyl siding. This allows for expansion and contraction without the cost of expensive clips.
Clipless Standing seam can be manufactured from heavy-duty rust free .032 aluminum alloys or copper in widths of 11’ – 20”.

Caution should be used if the building being roofed has valleys, as the snow will accumulate in the valleys held by the ridges of the standing seam. This could lead to damage on your roof. Double Locked Hemmed
The Double Locked Hemmed Seam roof, because of its double mechanical seaming, allows Standing Seam to be installed down to a 1/12 pitch. With the addition of sealant and Floating stainless aluminum clips the Double Locked Hemmed Standing Seam can be installed down to a pitch of ¼:12.
A Double hemmed seam roof will be as close to watertight as any standing seam roof and will exhibit strong oil canning tendencies. These roofs are generally used in areas where they cannot be viewed.
